10 Things I Wish I Knew Before Playing Gacha Capsule Shop Simulator
The game is dangerous because the owner is allowed to gamble with the inventory. That owner is me. Most of the lessons I learned came from trying to keep the shop productive while resisting the urge to personally open everything I just paid to stock.
1. An empty machine is expensive furniture
I focus on keeping a smaller group of machines full and working before buying every machine I can fit in the room.
2. Coin capacity can quietly stop the money loop
I make a regular pass to collect money instead of assuming the machines can keep earning forever without attention.
3. Repair, refill, collect is a useful routine
A quick maintenance route prevents three small jobs from turning into an entire day of chaos.
4. Customer demand is a better buying signal than my own excitement
If people keep asking for a series I do not carry, that is a stronger reason to spend than simply wanting another colorful machine.
5. Opening my own capsules is still inventory spending
Every capsule I take is one a customer cannot buy. I collect much harder once the shop has cash flow to absorb it.
6. Machine upgrades can be automation
More capacity and less babysitting can save as much time as another employee. I buy the thing that removes the current bottleneck.
7. Staff becomes valuable when the machine count gets annoying
I hire when refilling and customer service are eating the day, not simply because staff is available.
8. More space is useful only when I know what will fill it
Expansion is best when the current shop is already profitable and I need capacity, not when I just want a bigger empty room.
9. The weird side activities are part of the appeal
The game eventually becomes much stranger than running a cute capsule store. I would not optimize all of that weirdness out of the experience.
10. The best shop is the one that funds my bad decisions
I build the consistent sales loop first so the business can afford the collecting, experiments and chaos later.
